Settled in the heart of the North Maine Woods, 26 miles from Portage and 30 miles from the Canadian border, the Red River Camps caters to fishermen, hunters, naturalists, and folks who just want to get away from it all.

We are surrounded by low-lying, rugged mountains; rock slides and ice caves leave poignant reminders of the area's glacial heritage. A self-contained community of 17 buildings, Camp is situated on Island Pond, where you can fish for native trout, swim, canoe, or kayak. Within minutes, you can do the same at a number of ponds ranging in size from 20 acres to 300 acres.

Stay with us, and enjoy nature as it was meant to be.
